I was born in Sylvania, Ohio but I have also lived in Michigan, Kentucky, Montana, and even California. In 2006 I moved to Georgia to be near family, and the North Georgia Mountains have been my beloved home ever since. I earned my BS in Political Science and History from Brenau University and my JD from the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!). I began my legal career as an associate attorney to a Special Assistant Attorney General representing DFCS. In 2016 I went into private practice, and have dedicated my career to representing and advocating for abused and neglected children in the state of Georgia. I also serve as Guardian Ad Litem in Juvenile and Superior Courts. My husband Stephen and I live in Habersham County where we enjoy the rural quiet and serene beauty of the Chattahoochee River. We are very proud of our three adult children: Kyra, Brenden & Isabella.
